City of Oroville Museums

The City of Oroville is seeking museum volunteers to serve as docents in the City Museums
The Museum Docent Association originated in 1984 to support the City Museums. Docent Volunteers are asked to give four hours of service twice per month. Participants act as tour guides and interact with visitors, with the goal of cultivating connections and sparking curiosity and appreciation of local heritage. Docents also help with community events and programs, staff the gift shops, update records, and assist with special projects like cataloging and caring for artifacts.

4. Feather River Nature & Native Plant Park
5. Pioneer History Museum
