City Plaza

At the heart of Downtown Chico is the City Plaza where year round events, festivals, concerts, art shows, and more attract both locals and visitors.

Chico’s Downtown City Plaza is a welcoming space with an eye-catching performance area, a picturesque water feature, landscaping all around, and a veteran’s memorial. A large Blue Atlas Cedar Tree lies at the center of the park and is used for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting every year. The plaza hosts numerous concerts, art shows, culinary festivals, and large city events.
