PUMPKINHEAD: 30th Anniversary Celebration

Results Radio’s 106.7 Z-Rock gets the fun started at 8 AM as the Pumpkinhead competition kicks off. The celebration grows even bigger this year with the addition of FALLFEST from 11 AM to 3 PM, featuring family-favorite Halloween activities throughout the plaza.

At 8 AM sharp, approximately 20 brave competitors step up on their milk crates to compete for the crown, the bragging rights, and the $1,000 prize! Presented by Feather Falls Casino Resort, the contest takes place in the center of the Downtown Chico City Plaza. The contestants all try to go the distance with a hollowed-out pumpkin on their heads (and regret in their hearts) in the Black Cat Tattoo Arena, while the Z-Rock air staff directs stunts (and offers bribes!) to encourage Pumpkinheads to step down.

This year’s 30th Anniversary milestone features FALLFEST running from 11 AM to 3 PM, produced by Your Local Marketplace Chico! Bring the whole family out to enjoy:

• Trick-or-Treating and local vendor booths
• A live Magic Show by Kris Bentz
• A Photo Booth provided by Enriquez Entertainment
• Festive Pumpkin Crafts hosted by Covering Ground
• A Bounce House, face painting, and much more!

Bring your kids, paint a pumpkin, and come out to enjoy the day!
