Chico Junk Journal Club: Bakery

We are excited to be hosting the August Junk Journal Club at Daycamp Coffee! We took to polling event themes and venues on instagram, and overwhelmingly got 50+ votes for a bakery theme.

📅 Date: Thursday, August 6th, 2026
⏰ Time: 5:30 – 8:30 PM
📍 Location: Daycamp Coffee (1925 Market Pl., Ste 150, Chico)

🎨 All supplies (except journals) are provided, but we encourage bringing any of your own supplies to make your spreads uniquely yours!

🛍️ Mini Market: Outside of Daycamp Coffee their will be vendors selling stickers, markers, journals, and other related stationary and crafts. This portion will be open to the public along with early access for ticket holders.

💌 Typewriter Station: Returning to our crafty corner is Seqoia — Poet with a Golden Typewriter. They will be offering complimentary typewriter mini workshops so you can learn to use a typewriter and make your own poem or message to add to your journal. If you would like for them to create a custom poem that will be available as well at cost.

🎀༘ Pin Back Button Station: This month we will be hosting a complimentary pin-back button making station instead of a name tag making station. So far we have a heart shape button maker and are hoping to add a second maker with a classic circle style. Each attendee will be able to make one pin-back button.

🎨 Hand Drawn Photo Strips and Polaroids: Jacob, a local artist, will be hand drawing polaroid for $15 and photo strips (3 photos) for $20. If you would like to skip the line and order ahead of time, please pre-order via DM at @abeldrawing.
