Presented by the UC Master Gardeners of Butte County Living Lab Team in partnership with CARD. After each talk the participants will help hands-on experience helping to plant one of our Community Garden beds.

Join the UC Master Gardeners of Butte County for a free garden talk on Growing Garlic at the Dorothy F. Johnson Teaching Garden. Learn when and how to plant garlic, how to choose varieties that grow well in our area, and tips for watering, harvesting, and curing your crop. Whether you’re growing garlic for the first time or looking to improve your harvest, this practical talk will help you get started.
