Green Bridges Tour Part 1 at Lake Oroville

Bidwell Bar Bridge overlooks Lake Oroville, Oroville Dam, Bidwell Marina, Kelly Ridge, Potters Ravine, Berry Creek and is located just past Loafer recreation.

Small trail beside free parking leads along edge of lake where local fishermen frequent; a large pine dwells; to where the sidewalk ends and where superblooms of poppies and lupines often form.

Large birds of prey like osprey, ravens, red tailed hawks, and deer, fox and rabbits are often seen here also, where wildflowers bloom abundantly and almost in secret where they usually are undisturbed and overlooked. Much like Berry Creek, where part 2 of the bridge series will continue during the summer.
