Walk Woof Wag 2025

For 12 years, Walk Woof Wag has been one of Chico's most beloved events, featuring a scenic walk through beautiful Bidwell Park, games for dogs (and their humans!), costume contests with celebrity judges, activity booths, and plenty of tricks & treats for all! This event raises money for the Chico Animal Shelter, providing critical care for abandoned, injured, and ill animals, helping them recover and find loving homes.

What can I expect at the event?
We will have booths for dogs (and their humans) to enjoy, food trucks, dog agility course, games for dogs, demonstrations, raffle prizes, and of course, the short walk through beautiful Bidwell. The walk is about a mile.

What is new this year?
Besides all the wonderful traditional events, this year will have a scavenger hunt that enters you into a special raffle, face painting (for humans), and on-line fundraising for everyone who may not be able to attend the event or would like to raise money in addition to their registration.
